You have a new smart TV and you’re so excited to get up and running with everything, but there’s one problem. Discovery Plus is not working on Samsung TVs. You feel helpless and begin to question if you even want to try again. As any streaming device owner knows, problems can arise when you least expect them. The good news for you is that these are quick, easy fixes that we can follow together step by step. Don’t worry, we’ll make this a walk in the park!
Check your internet connection
Check that your Samsung TV is connected to the internet. To do this, go to Settings > General > Network > Open Network Settings and ensure that the network type is set to Wired or Wireless. If it is set to Auto, change it to either Wired or Wireless. Once you have done this, restart your Samsung TV and try opening Discovery Plus again.
If you are still having trouble, try connecting your Samsung TV to the internet using an Ethernet cable. This will ensure that you have a stable connection and will likely fix any issues you are having.
Check if your Samsung TV is on the supported devices list
First, go to Discovery Plus’s website and check if your Samsung TV model is on the list of supported devices. If it’s not, then Discovery Plus might not be compatible with your TV.
If your Samsung TV model is on the list, then the next thing to do is to check if your TV is connected to the Internet. To do this, go to your TV’s Settings menu and look for the Network or Internet settings. Once you’re in the network settings, select “Check network connection” or something similar. This will test your TV’s connection to the Internet.
If your TV is connected to the Internet, then the next thing to do is to update your TV’s software. To do this, go to your TV’s Settings menu and look for the “Software update” or “System updates” option. Select this option and follow the instructions on how to update your TV’s software.
If you’ve tried all of the above and Discovery Plus still isn’t working on your Samsung TV, then there might be a problem with Discovery Plus itself. In this case, you can try contacting Discovery Plus’s customer support.
