STAR WARS: The Old Republic, Which class should I choose? There are several classes in SWTOR, each offering their own unique skillset. Which class is best for me? How do I decide?

SWTOR is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released in November 2011 and has since become one of the biggest video games in the genre.

There are four main classes in SWTOR: Jedi Knight, Sith Warrior, Trooper, and Bounty Hunter. Each class offers its own unique abilities and strengths. For example, the Jedi Knight uses Force powers to manipulate objects and enemies, whereas the Bounty Hunter relies on stealth and speed.

Each class also comes with its own specializations. These include lightsaber combat, healing, and passive abilities. As such, choosing the right specialization is important. However, it’s not always easy to tell what your character can specialize in. This guide will help you figure out which specialization fits you best.

The first step towards finding out if a particular class is right for you is to take a look at its skill tree. Skill trees allow players to customize their characters as they see fit. They contain all of the different skills that a class can learn.

Let’s now move on and learn more about the ranking of top classes in Star Wars: The Old Republic. For the sake of convenience, I have grouped the light side classes with their dark side counterparts.

1. Class: Jedi Knight / Sith Warrior

Jedi Knights are known for their mastery over the force. Their ability to wield lightsabers and use Force powers makes them effective fighters. In addition, Jedi Knights excel in melee combat. They can easily dispatch enemies with powerful attacks.

However, Jedi Knights lack ranged weapons. Therefore, they cannot attack from afar like other classes. Instead, they must rely on close-combat techniques.

On the flipside, Sith Warriors are masters of the dark side. They are able to harness the power of the force to enhance their physical strength and agility. Sith Warriors are great at dealing damage using heavy weaponry.

2. Class: Jedi Consular / Sith Inquisitor

While Jedi Consuls and Sith Inquisitors share similar skillsets, they differ significantly in terms of gameplay styles. Jedi Consuls are better suited for PvP while Sith Inquisitors excel in PvE content.

Jedi Consuls are excellent healers. They can regenerate health and shields quickly. Furthermore, they can use Force Heal to restore lost health.

In contrast, Sith Inquisitors are better equipped for PvP. They deal high amounts of damage and can kill multiple opponents at once.

3. Class: Smuggler / Imperial Agent

Smugglers are well-versed in the art of deception. They can disguise themselves as any type of object or creature. They can even impersonate an enemy player.

This allows them to sneak up on unsuspecting targets. On the downside, they do not have access to ranged weapons.

Imperial Agents are adept at infiltration. They can infiltrate enemy bases undetected. Once inside, they can perform various actions including hacking computers and turrets.

4. Class: Republic Trooper / Bounty Hunter

Troopers are good at using blaster rifles. They can fire rapid shots at distant targets. In addition, they can use grenades to stun nearby enemies.

Bounty Hunters are experts at sneaking around. They can hide behind walls and ambush enemies. Furthermore, they can track down hidden foes using thermal scanners.

In conclusion

Star Wars: The Old Republic has many interesting features. One of these is the class system. It lets players choose between four different classes. While some classes are better than others, there is no one perfect class. You should try each class out before deciding which one suits your playstyle.
